The Bookville Reading Competition encourages reading for pleasure and serves as an avenue to enrich the experience of literature. By participating, children develop the habit of reading as a lifelong activity. The competition focuses on testing comprehension, critical thinking, and the ability to apply knowledge.

The Competition is open to Children aged between 10 and 12 years old. Contestants must be within the age range from the start to the end of the competition round.

Yes. So long as they are still within the age range for the competition.

Yes. Schools can register pupils and students.

The competition is in three stages namely: <br> Pre-competition Workshop, 
preliminary stage and the Final stage.

The prizes are:

First Prize : A Laptop, An award plaque, A Pack of Books , 80 hours of French Lessons at Alliance Francaise and Cash Prize.

Second Prize: A Laptop, An award plaque, A Pack of Books, 80 hours of French Lessons at Alliance Francaise and Cash Prize.

Third Prize: A Laptop, An award plaque, A Pack of Books, 80 hours of French Lessons at Alliance Francaise and Cash Prize.

Other Prizes: Most Improved Contestant, Most Determined Contestant
Certificates of participation and book gifts for all contestants.
